Pueblo, Overton

The popular village cafe Pueblo has closed after four years of trading.

In a statement, posted on Facebook on Thursday, they said “We are truly sad to announce that yesterday we ceased trading. We have for some months been trying to find a way forward for the cafe that would respond to the demands of the world as we find it now, but we ran out of time, and had to come in to land a little sooner and more abruptly than we were expecting.”

In paying tribute, the team at the Red Lion on the High Street commented:

Team Cafe Pueblo” – the love you showed for our village and for your many customers is enviable. Although this particular journey may have ended a little more abruptly than hoped, you will have our full support – and the full support of the local community – with whichever fork in the road you take in the next stage of your journey.

We at Overton Radio would like to express our sadness at the loss of such a fantastic business for the village, and we wish Jhon, Lannah, Noelia, Isabel and Bella the dog all the very best for what the future may bring… we’re going to miss seeing that big pan!!
