Have your say on the draft Basingstoke and Deane Local Plan Update

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is consulting on the draft Local Plan Update.

The consultation is your chance to get involved in shaping the future of the borough, including where new homes will be built and how we protect our environment.

There is an online event to provide information on the draft plan’s approach to climate change to be held on Microsoft Teams on Monday February 5th from 6pm-7pm. Registration for this event is mandatory, and can be done by clicking here. This event will include a presentation by the council’s consultants, Introba, on the proposed energy standards policy and the requirement for net zero homes.

If you missed the drop-in session in Overton last week, there’s one on Wednesday 7 February from 2pm to 8pm at St Mark’s Church, Homestead Road, Kempshott.📄

Documents can be viewed at the Civic Offices in London Road, Basingstoke, from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and in libraries.

Response forms are available at the council offices or can be downloaded from the website and returned by email to local.plan@basingstoke.gov.uk or by post to: Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke, RG21 4AH.

Alternatively call 01256 844844 to be sent a response form.
