Volunteers Sought to Help Marshal Overton Wheelbarrow Race

The organisers of this year’s Overton Wheelbarrow Race are appealing for volunteers to help marshal the popular community event, which takes place on Friday 17th July.

Marshals play an important role in ensuring the race runs safely and smoothly, helping guide participants around the course, assisting with road crossings where required, and providing support throughout the evening.

The annual Wheelbarrow Race is one of Overton’s best-loved community events, attracting competitors and spectators alike for an evening of fun, fancy dress, and fundraising.

Anyone who can spare some time to help on the day is encouraged to get in touch with the organisers as soon as possible.
