Watership Down Health Launches Upgraded GP Triage System This Week

Patients at Watership Down Health will be able to access a new and improved GP online triage system from Wednesday 20 May 2026.

The upgraded service will go live from 7am on Wednesday and will allow patients to submit GP online triage enquiries quickly and securely through the practice website.

The new system is designed to make it easier for patients to contact the surgery, helping requests reach the right clinical team more efficiently and ensuring patients receive the most appropriate care or advice as soon as possible.

Online GP triage will be available from 7am, Monday to Friday, with surgery opening hours remaining 8am to 6.30pm.

To help patients understand how the new system works, Watership Down Health has published two information videos on YouTube.

A short guide, How to Use GP Triage – For Patients (Short Version), gives a quick overview of the process, while a more detailed full version explains each step in greater detail. The full video will also be shown in the introduction pop-up when patients first access the GP triage system online. You can watch these videos below:

The practice is encouraging patients who are unfamiliar with online triage to watch one of the videos ahead of the launch so they feel confident using the new service from day one.

The move forms part of ongoing efforts to modernise access to GP services and improve the way patients can contact their local surgery for non-emergency medical concerns.
