The internet outage that affected parts of Overton has now been fully resolved, with services returning to normal yesterday evening.
The disruption, which began on May 11th, left some homes and businesses without a stable connection, causing frustration for residents who rely on broadband for work, communication, and entertainment.
Network providers have confirmed that service has now been restored and systems are operating as expected.
If you were caught up in the outage and your provider is part of the automatic compensation scheme, you may now be entitled to a payment. In many cases, this is applied automatically, with credits added directly to customer accounts without the need to submit a claim.
Customers are being advised to check their next bill or online account for any compensation updates, and to contact their provider if they believe they are eligible but have not received anything.
