Request for Parking Consideration During Funeral on Friday 7th November

Residents of Lordsfield Gardens are respectfully requesting the cooperation of parents, carers, and visitors to the area on Friday 7th November, when a funeral service will be taking place at 2.00pm.

On this day, a hearse and accompanying funeral cars will be arriving and departing from the top close of Lordsfield Gardens, where family and friends of the deceased will be gathering to pay their respects. In light of this, residents are asking that no vehicles be parked in the close during the school pick-up period, as space will be required to accommodate the funeral procession safely and with dignity.

It is also important to note that the hearse and cortege will be present in the area at approximately the same time that children will be leaving school. Residents are keen to ensure that this does not cause any undue distress or disruption to pupils, parents, or members of the bereaved family.

The residents of Lordsfield Gardens would be very grateful for everyone’s understanding and support in helping to ensure that the occasion can proceed smoothly and respectfully. They extend their thanks in advance for the community’s cooperation and sensitivity at what will be a difficult time for those involved.
