Overton United announce new management team ahead of Premier Division return

Overton United Football Club have announced a new management team ahead of the 2026/27 season, as the club prepares for life back in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division.

Jack Hannam and Dan Schofield will take charge of the first team following a successful campaign which saw Overton United finish second in the league and secure promotion.

In a statement, the club said the pair are “a key part of this football club” as preparations begin for the new season at a higher level.

The announcement comes after a strong year for Overton United, with the club earning promotion back to the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division after an impressive second-place finish last season.

The club also paid tribute to outgoing management team members Louis Macey, Jim Macey and Craig Wise for their work during the promotion campaign.

Overton United thanked the trio for “all their hard work for getting us back to where this club belongs” as they move on to new challenges elsewhere.

Supporters will now look ahead to the new season with optimism as the club returns to senior division football under fresh leadership.
