Overton Cricket Club has a busy weekend ahead, with all three men’s teams in action on Saturday and the women’s side taking to the field on Sunday. All matches begin at 1pm.
The club’s 1st XI host Basingstoke & North Hants CC 3rd XI at The Recreation Centre on Bridge Street on Saturday afternoon. Overton will be looking to continue their recent good form as they welcome the visitors for what promises to be an entertaining contest.
The 2nd XI are on the road, travelling to Amport Cricket Club to face their 2nd XI. Both sides will be eager to secure valuable points as the season continues.
Meanwhile, the 3rd XI travel to Crown Taverners Cricket Club, where they take on their CC 2nd XI. Overton will be hoping for a positive result against a side that has enjoyed a strong run of form in recent weeks.
Attention then turns to Sunday, when Overton Women’s 1st XI host Basingstoke & North Hants Women’s 1st XI at The Recreation Centre. Both teams will be looking to improve their recent results and claim an important victory.
Supporters are encouraged to head along and support the club, with all four fixtures getting underway at 1pm.
