Overton Radio Unveils a New Era for Weekday Afternoons with Overton Now

Overton Radio is set to launch an exciting new chapter in its weekday schedule. From Monday, November 17th, The Afternoon Show will relaunch under a new name and format as Overton Now – broadcasting every weekday from 2pm to 5pm, hosted by Rob Francis.

Overton Now will offer a refreshed approach to afternoon broadcasting, combining engaging conversation, carefully curated music, and a stronger focus on community involvement. The reimagined programme will provide listeners with more opportunities to participate, share their views, and highlight stories from across Overton and the wider region.

Listeners can expect live interaction, topical discussion, and a closer connection to local life – all delivered with the warmth and professionalism that Rob Francis has become known for. The new format reflects Overton Radio’s ongoing commitment to innovation and to providing programming that reflects the interests and voices of its audience.

Rob Francis said: “Overton Now is designed to bring our listeners even closer to the heartbeat of their community. It’s about real people, real stories, and the moments that matter most – all happening in real time.”

Overton Now will air weekdays from 2pm to 5pm, beginning Monday, November 17th, exclusively on Overton Radio. Listeners can tune in online, on Alexa, or via the Overton Radio app.
