Overton United Reserves Cruise to 7–0 Victory on the Isle of Wight

Overton United Reserves put on a commanding display at the weekend, thrashing East Cowes Reserves 7–0 away from home in a one-sided contest that showcased the team’s growing strength and confidence.

From the first whistle, Overton were in complete control, with goals flying in from all over the pitch. Matt Dean and Nathan Rae each found the net, while Louis McCann bagged a tidy brace. The standout performance, however, came from Ash Elward, who fired home an impressive hat-trick to seal a memorable afternoon for the visitors.

The result sees Overton’s second string progress comfortably into the next round, and serves as further proof of the depth of talent running through the club.
