Overton Choral Society is looking for an experienced pianist to accompany its rehearsals and concerts, with the successful candidate ideally starting as soon as possible.
The friendly SATB choir, which has around 20 members, has been established for more than 100 years and performs a varied repertoire of music. The society also has strong links with local choral festivals and continues to play an active part in the area’s musical community.
Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings from 7.45pm to 9.15pm in Overton, with the pianist required to support singers during rehearsals and accompany the choir at concerts.
The society is looking for a confident pianist with experience of accompanying singers or choirs. The position is offered on a freelance basis rather than as an employed role, with payment dependent on the successful applicant’s experience.
Anyone interested in the opportunity is invited to contact Overton Choral Society by emailing overtonchoralsoc@gmail.com.
