Hampshire County Council has appointed Clearview Surveys to carry out highway investigation works on High Street in Overton.
The work will involve taking samples from the road construction and carrying out drainage surveys, helping the council to better understand the current condition of the road and the materials beneath it.
The investigation is expected to take place on Monday 19 October 2026 and is scheduled to last for one day. Work will be carried out between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Temporary traffic management will be in place during the works, including two-way traffic signals on the B3400 High Street. There will also be road closures at the southern end of Bridge Street and the northern end of Red Lion Lane, where they meet the B3400.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys while the works are taking place.
Further information, including details of the traffic management arrangements and the location of the scheme, is available via Causeway One.Network.
