Work has started on Lordsfield Swimming Club’s pool refurbishment. The work is forecast to take at least 5 months, which means that the pool will not open for swimming this summer.
The club have tried to avoid the work affecting the swimming season but, despite their best efforts & due to external factors, this has not been possible. The have to spend the substantial sum of money we’ve received from the government’s Community Ownership Fund (COF) by September, so they have no choice other than to proceed & complete the work over the next few months.
The club will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Sunday April 28th at 3pm in the Community Centre to keep residents up to date on the refurbishment.
