Station Manager
Rob Francis is the driving force behind Overton Radio, serving as the station’s manager and one of its most familiar voices. Passionate about radio and the local community, Rob is dedicated to bringing great music, engaging content, and local news to Overton and beyond.
You can hear Rob on weekday afternoons from 2pm-4pm, where he delivers a mix of music, chat, and his popular feature ‘Rob’s Jukebox’ at 3:25pm. He also kickstarts the weekend with Saturday Breakfast from 7am-10am, keeping listeners up to date with local sporting action, and hosts weekend breakfast on Sundays from 7am-10am, which includes ‘Pause for Thought’ with Rev. James Russell.
Rob’s love for radio and broadcasting is evident in everything he does, from managing the station’s day-to-day operations to getting involved with community events. Whether he’s behind the mic or working behind the scenes, his goal is simple: to make Overton Radio a station that listeners love.
