After more than 20 years as an independent organisation, the Overton Biodiversity Society has announced that it will become a sub-group of Overton Parish Council from October this year.
A unique opportunity has opened up in the heart of the community, as Overton Parish Council begins its search for a skilled and passionate communications professional to take the reins of its monthly publication, Overton News & Views, and social media output.
The public toilets outside the community centre on Winchester Street, Overton, have been closed after an incident of vandalism left the facilities unusable.
Residents of Overton are invited to attend the Annual Parish Meeting, which will take place at St Mary’s Hall on May 28th at 7:30 PM.
