Two cars were damaged after catching fire on Waltham Road in the early hours of Sunday morning, Overton Radio understands.
Emergency services were called after residents reported seeing flames coming from two vehicles parked on the road. One eyewitness said the incident happened at around 3.30am.
Fire crews attended the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control. One of the vehicles has since been removed, while the other remains at the scene as investigations continue.
It’s understood the fire also caused damage to the exterior of a nearby house, though there are no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed, and investigations are ongoing.
