Overton United Veterans are celebrating after storming into the next round of the Mike Parker Trophy with a resounding 4–1 victory over Knaphill Veterans at Bridge Street.
It was a confident and commanding performance from the home side, who looked in control from the opening whistle. Goals from Matty Aslett, Carl Bates, Andy Ramsden, and Jared Wetherick sealed the win and delighted the home supporters.
Knaphill managed a consolation strike, but Overton’s dominance never looked in doubt as they powered through to the next round in style.
With momentum clearly on their side, the Veterans will be looking to carry that same energy and sharpness into their next fixture — and keep their trophy dreams alive.
