An evening of bat watching over the River Test is being hosted in Overton.
Ken and Jane MacKenzie of the Overton Biodiversity Society are hosting the event with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust next month.
This evening wildlife hunt is on Saturday 7th October and is aimed at children aged between 5 and 15.
They will be using bat detectors and torches to look at the bats as they swoop over the river.
Organisers say, “Children must be accompanied by adults. Adults cannot book without booking a child ticket. There is a limit of two adults per a child but where possible one adult per child to limit numbers and allow enough child bookings to be available. Thank you for your understanding.”
