Residents in Overton are being encouraged to take part in a public consultation on the future of policing in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The Government is considering proposals to merge police forces across England, a move that could reshape how policing is delivered in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight.
The consultation, launched by the Police and Crime Commissioner, is seeking views from members of the public before any decisions are made.
Supporters of the consultation say it is important that local communities have the opportunity to share their views, as any changes could affect how police services are organised and delivered in the future.
Residents are being reminded that effective policing relies on a strong understanding of the communities it serves, making local feedback an important part of the decision-making process.
Anyone wishing to take part can complete the Police and Crime Commissioner’s online survey at:

The consultation is open now, and residents are encouraged to submit their views before it closes.
