Worting Road Closure for Resurfacing: April 22nd – 28th

Important roadworks will be taking place on Worting Road this April, with a closure scheduled between the West Ham Leisure Park roundabout and the Worting Road roundabout. The road will be closed for resurfacing from 8:00 PM until 6:00 AM on four consecutive nights between April 22nd and April 28th. This is part of ongoing efforts to improve local infrastructure and ensure smoother and safer journeys for all road users.

During the closures, bus service 76 will be unable to serve key stops along the affected route, including the Leisure Park, Worting Road roundabout, and Worting White Hart. Passengers using these stops will need to make alternative travel arrangements. To minimize disruption, bus services will be diverted via Winklebury and Roman Road, but there may still be delays along the diversion route.

Commuters and residents in the area are urged to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time during the resurfacing works. While efforts will be made to minimize inconvenience, it’s important to note that these essential works may cause delays or disruptions to both road traffic and public transport services.

If you’re planning to travel in or around the Worting Road area during the closure period, be sure to check for any updates on local services and adjust your journey as necessary. The resurfacing works are vital for improving the road surface and enhancing the safety of the route for all users, so your patience and understanding during this time will be greatly appreciated.
