The Overton Recreation Centre (ORC) is on the lookout for a dedicated volunteer to take on the role of an Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a vital community organization that provides sports and recreational facilities for Overton and the surrounding areas.
About the ORC
The ORC is a registered charity dedicated to enhancing the recreational and sporting life of Overton. With facilities based at Bridge Street, Town Meadow, and Berrydown, the centre plays a key role in keeping the community active and engaged.
What Does the ORC Administrator Do?
The ORC Administrator will be responsible for key operational tasks, including:
- Managing the ORC calendar to ensure smooth scheduling of events and activities.
- Overseeing utilities, waste, and cleaning providers, ensuring the centre runs efficiently.
- Acting as a contact point for queries, helping community members connect with the ORC.
- Supporting the Chair and Treasurer on various tasks and projects.
- Attending monthly ORC committee meetings to contribute to decision-making and planning.
