Overton residents are being urged to come forward with any information after a valeting van belonging to A One Valet Services was broken into on Sapley Lane last night between 10:10 and 10:17 pm.
CCTV footage has revealed that a dark grey Audi Q3 was involved in the incident. The vehicle was initially parked at the Spar before moving further up Sapley Lane, where it positioned itself in front of a grey Corsa.
A white vehicle, possibly a Mini, was also seen driving along Sapley Lane during the time of the incident. CCTV captured the Audi Q3 turning its lights off as the white vehicle approached. Authorities are now hoping to contact the driver of this white car, as they may have witnessed the break-in or captured crucial dashcam footage, including the registration of the Audi Q3.
Eyewitness reports and footage indicate that two individuals exited the Audi Q3 before the break-in occurred. Any residents with Ring doorbell cameras along Sapley Lane are encouraged to check their footage from last night in case they captured anything suspicious.
If you have any information, dashcam footage, or security footage that may assist in identifying those responsible, please get in touch with police on 101. Your help would be greatly appreciated in ensuring those involved are held accountable.
