Two Gate Lane will be closed for two days from Wednesday 21 January to allow essential works to take place.
The closure will be in place between 8am and 4pm on both days. Drivers are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for journeys, as alternative routes may be needed during these hours.
Contractors have confirmed that access will be provided when it is safe to do so. Gatemen will be on site throughout the works to help residents, businesses, and anyone who needs access.
In a statement, the contractors said: “I can confirm that access will be given whenever safe to do so during the course of these works. There will be gatemen onsite to assist if there are any further problems with access when works begin.”
Road users are asked to follow signage and instructions on site while the work is carried out.
