Testbourne Fireworks Night: FAQs

The Testbourne Fireworks Night takes place this Saturday evening at Testbourne Community School!

Expect an explosive evening of fun, food, and fantastic fireworks, with Overton Radio’s Rob Francis and Kevin Ridgeon providing music and live entertainment throughout the night.

To help everything go off without a hitch (and without a traffic meltdown), here’s your complete guide and FAQs for the event:

📅 When is it?
Saturday, 25th October 2025. Gates open at 5:00 PM, and the fireworks display begins at 7:00 PM.


🚗 Will there be parking on site?

There’s a very limited number of spaces available on the school playground, priced at £6.00 per car.
👉 Purchase in advance at go.testbourne.school/fireworks.
No other on-site parking will be available.

If you require a Blue Badge space, please email community@testbourne.school in advance.


🐾 Can I bring my dogs?

Sorry — no furry friends allowed. Dogs are not permitted on school grounds at any time, including evening events.


🍔 Will there be food and drink available?

Absolutely! Expect a range of hot food options and a fully stocked bar serving both soft and alcoholic drinks.

  • Vegetarian and gluten-free choices will be available.
  • Please note: Testbourne is a cashless site — card payments only.

🎟️ Can I buy tickets on the night?

Yes, tickets will be available at the gate, but organisers strongly advise buying in advance to avoid long queues.
Online ticket sales remain open until 5 PM on the day via go.testbourne.school/fireworks.


🚻 Will there be toilet facilities?

Yes — toilets will be available on the main field.


Will there be disabled access?

Yes. The main path to the field is tarmacked, but the field itself is grass, which could be muddy or slippery if wet. Disabled toilets will also be available on site.


Can I bring my own sparklers?

No — sparklers are not permitted for safety reasons.
However, there will be light-up merchandise available to buy (card only).


💺 Can I bring my own chairs?

No — due to health and safety regulations, chairs are not allowed on site.


🚶 How can I access the site?

The only entrance will be via the main school gates on Micheldever Road, which will be open to pedestrians only.
All other gates will be locked, and no cars will be allowed through the entrance.


🏥 Will there be first aid on site?

Yes — trained first aiders will be in attendance throughout the evening.
