Sustainable Overton will hold a general meeting at the Overton Community Centre on Monday 12th May, and all members of the community are warmly invited to attend.
The meeting will begin at 8:00pm and will provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the group’s ongoing initiatives and future plans. All are welcome, regardless of prior involvement or knowledge of Sustainable Overton’s work.
In addition, a special networking session will take place from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, specifically aimed at individuals and volunteers involved in running local groups within the village. The purpose of this informal gathering is to encourage collaboration between the various community-led organisations operating in Overton.
Topics for discussion during the session may include:
- Current activities being undertaken by local groups
- Opportunities for cooperation and resource sharing
- Ways to avoid duplication of efforts
- Any other relevant matters that participants wish to raise
Sustainable Overton hopes the event will foster a greater sense of unity and shared purpose among the village’s many volunteer-run initiatives.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to come along, contribute to the conversation, and take part in shaping a more connected and sustainable Overton.
