Local residents are being invited to get hands-on help with the NHS App at a special support session hosted by Watership Down Health and the Patient Participation Group.
The event, taking place on Friday 6th June 2025 from 2pm to 4pm at St Mary’s Hall, Overton, is designed to help patients learn more about the NHS App and how it can be used to manage their health care more easily and efficiently.
Ben Sinclair, the Digital Transformational Lead for the local Primary Care Network, will be leading the session. He’ll be on hand to guide attendees through the app’s features—from booking GP appointments and ordering repeat prescriptions to accessing test results and health advice.
There are two types of sessions available:
- Information sessions: From 2:00–2:30pm and 3:00–3:30pm – for those who want to learn more about what the app can do.
- Hands-on help: From 2:30–3:00pm and 3:30–4:00pm – for those who need support with getting set up or using specific features.
Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Attendees will be informed of anything they need to bring after they register.
To reserve your spot, contact Heather at hmann204@hotmail.com.
This is a great opportunity to get up to speed with the NHS App in a friendly, local setting—so don’t miss out!
