Stagecoach have confirmed changes to the 76 bus route from September 1st.
Service 76 will now leave Andover bus station and run direct along Northern Avenue and Churchill Way to the Walworth Industrial Estate. There will be new stops on Churchill Way in the lay-bys adjacent to Pilgrims Way. In Basingstoke buses will serve the railway station both when arriving and leaving the bus station. Buses will run the full route every half hour all day, doubling the service between Andover and Overton. There will be a later journey on Friday and Saturday evenings and two extra round trips on Sundays.
- Buses going to Andover during the day will leave Overton at 47 and 17 minutes past each hour
- Buses going to Basingstoke during the day will leave Overton at 13 and 43 minutes past each hour.
- There will be an extra bus on Friday and Saturday evenings, going to Basingstoke at 11.21pm and going to Andover at 12.14am
- The last bus to Basingstoke on Sunday will leave Overton at 7.21pm, and the last bus to Andover will leave Overton at 8.15pm
