Overton United bounced back to winning ways on Saturday with an impressive 5-0 victory over Liphook United.

Alfie Clark got Overton off the mark after 30 minutes, giving the home side a deserved lead. Cole Oates then struck twice in the space of just six minutes to put United firmly in control, with Overton heading into the break 3-0 ahead.

There was little let-up after the restart, as Jacob Burrows added a fourth goal shortly after half-time to put the result beyond doubt.

Overton continued to dominate and completed the scoring in the 80th minute, with Dan Schofield finding the net to round off a convincing afternoon for United.

The five-goal victory gives Overton a welcome return to form and plenty of momentum heading into their first home fixture of the season on Saturday, as they welcome Whitehill and Bordon to Bridge Street.
