Overton United’s Sunday team have moved a step closer to securing promotion with a dominant 4-0 victory over The Bell Inn. Goals from Samie Aldoori, Matt Dean, Ethan Rizik, and Tyrell Reid sealed the win, showcasing their impressive form as the season enters its final stretch.
Aldoori opened the scoring with a well-taken strike early in the match, and Dean quickly doubled the lead with a clinical finish. Rizik and Reid then added their names to the score sheet, putting the game beyond doubt as Overton United demonstrated their quality on both ends of the pitch.
With just three games remaining, the team’s promotion hopes remain very much alive. The next challenge comes away at Wherwell Royals next Sunday, marking the last away game of the season. All eyes will be on United as they look to continue their march towards the top.
