Overton United maintained their flawless start to the season with a commanding 7-0 victory over Hedge End Town at Bridge Street. The result keeps the hosts unbeaten in the league, boasting six wins from as many matches.
The scoring started early when Louis Wilson opened the account in the 16th minute, followed by a flurry of goals as Colby Craig (28’), Woody Tydeman (32’), and Adam Hargood (35’) all found the net before the break, leaving Hedge End reeling.
The second half saw no let-up from Overton, with Charlie Short adding a fifth goal in the 47th minute and Wilson doubling his tally in the 62nd. Luke Hall capped off the impressive performance with a late strike in the 85th minute.
