Overton United Reserves produced a ruthless attacking display at Berrydown, hitting five goals past Rushmoor Development to claim a commanding 5–1 victory.
The home side looked sharp from the off, with Johnie Gurney opening the scoring and setting the tone for what was to come. Samie Aldoori doubled the advantage soon after, giving Overton a comfortable cushion as they pressed high and dominated possession.
Rushmoor managed to pull one back, but the Reserves were in no mood to let the visitors back into the contest. Cam Harper restored the two-goal lead, before Lyndon Tyson and Spencer Nicholson each got their names on the scoresheet to complete the rout.
It was a statement win for Overton’s second string, who combined energy, pace, and clinical finishing to secure all three points in style.
Next up, the Reserves welcome Wey Valley to Berrydown – another big test as they look to build momentum and continue their strong run of form.
