Overton Rugby Club Kicks Off League Season at Home Against Portsmouth Seconds

After a disappointing campaign last season, Overton Rugby Club is set to start the new league season with renewed determination as they host Portsmouth Seconds at Odd Ball Lane in Freefolk.

The clash kicks off at 3 PM, and fans are being encouraged to come out and support the home side as they look to set the tone for the season ahead. Last year’s results left much to be desired, but the team has spent the off-season regrouping, training hard, and focusing on turning things around.

Overton will be aiming to combine strong forward play with quick, decisive attacking moves, while Portsmouth Seconds will be hoping to continue their own preparations with a positive start on the road.

With home advantage and a fresh season in front of them, Overton Rugby Club is hoping to make this opening fixture one to remember for their supporters.

Kick-off is at 3 PM at Odd Ball Lane, Freefolk.
