Overton Radio Launches Festive Pop-Up Station for Christmas

Overton Radio is turning up the holiday cheer this year with the launch of Overton Radio Christmas – a dedicated pop-up station playing nothing but Christmas music, all day, every day, from November 1st to December 31st.

From the moment the first snowflake (or raindrop) falls, listeners can tune in for a continuous stream of festive favourites – from timeless classics like Bing Crosby and Wham! to modern hits from Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis, and beyond. The pop-up promises non-stop Christmas music with no interruptions, making it the perfect soundtrack for decorating the tree, writing cards, wrapping gifts, or surviving the office Secret Santa.

Unlike most festive playlists, Overton Radio Christmas won’t just recycle the same ten tracks on repeat. The team has curated a vast selection of songs that capture every side of the season – the joy, the nostalgia, and the slightly chaotic moments in between. Expect everything from cosy crooners and 80s pop sparkle to the occasional novelty tune that you secretly love but won’t admit to.

Rob Francis, station manager of Overton Radio said: “We wanted to give our listeners something that really captures the magic of the season. Overton Radio Christmas is about creating that warm, familiar feeling – a place where people can escape the stress, sing along, and just enjoy the sound of Christmas. It’s our gift to the community.”

The festive pop-up will run alongside Overton Radio’s regular programming and can be heard online at overtonradio.com/christmasradio, and on the MyTuner app.

So whether you’re baking mince pies, putting up fairy lights, or just need a bit of festive spirit to get through the day — Overton Radio Christmas will be there, spreading joy from the first of November all the way to New Year’s Eve.
