Overton Memorial Institute has announced its early-bird membership offer for 2026, giving both regulars and newcomers a chance to join the social club at a reduced rate during December.
From Monday 1 December, anyone purchasing a membership will pay £10. The early-bird window runs throughout the month. From 1 January, the standard membership fee of £15 comes into effect.
The institute’s team hopes the offer will encourage more people to explore what the club provides. Members gain access to a range of facilities, including two pool tables, a full-size snooker table, and sports coverage from Sky Sports and TNT Sports shown across three large screens. Regular visitors say the setup creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, especially on busy match days.
Membership also brings discounted entry to the club’s live music nights, which have become a staple of the local entertainment scene. The events draw performers from the village and beyond, often packing out the main bar on weekends.
The early-bird deal is part of a wider effort to keep the venue thriving. The club plays a central role in village life, hosting gatherings, fundraisers, and social nights throughout the year.
Residents interested in joining can sign up at the club from the start of December. The committee says it looks forward to welcoming new faces as it heads into 2026.
