Overton’s own Tidy Team is calling on residents to roll up their sleeves for a Village Spring Clean event this Saturday. The community-focused group is inviting everyone who can spare an hour or two to help give the village centre a fresh, welcoming look.
Volunteers will meet outside St Luke’s Hall at 2.30pm, ready to tackle everything from litter picking to weeding. The aim is simple: to spruce up Overton and celebrate the work of local volunteers who dedicate their time to keeping the village looking its best.
“Let’s come together and support this fantastic team,” said a Tidy Team spokesperson. “With a little effort from everyone, Overton can really shine!”
Residents of all ages are welcome to join, and equipment will be provided. Just bring your energy and a willingness to help make a difference in your community.
