It’s game night in Overton! The Overton Dramatic Society is rolling out the fun this evening with a Skittles Night at St Mary’s Hall, promising a lively mix of friendly competition, laughter, and community spirit.
Everyone’s invited — families, friends, and players of all ages — to come along, bring a drink, and join the action. There’s no need for a ticket, just a £3 fee per player to help cover the cost of the hall. The doors open from 7:00 PM for setup, with the games getting underway at 7:30 PM sharp.
Organiser Jim will be running the skittles throughout the evening, with a variety of games on offer — from traditional individual skittles to “killer” and team rounds, depending on how many players turn up. Volunteers are also very welcome to lend a hand setting up the skittles between games.
And if you need another reason to pop down — aside from a fun night and great company — you can also grab your tickets for Elf the Musical while you’re there. Paul will be selling them on the night, and with the show already well over halfway sold out, it’s the perfect time to secure your seats.
Can’t make it tonight? Tickets for Elf the Musical are also available online anytime at overtondramatic.co.uk/tickets.
So, whether you’re a seasoned bowler or just fancy something a bit different on a Friday night, grab your snacks, your favourite tipple, and head down to St Mary’s Hall — it’s sure to be a strike of a good time! 🎳
