Overton Cricket Club are excited to announce that their new new nets are officially open!
The new nets were made possible thanks to Overton Parish Council for the Community Infrastructire Levy Grant that has enabled them to provide this fantastic facility for the whole community.
The work was complteted by Fieldform Ltd.
The nets have been relocated from the corner near the church, to the river end. By doing this it will allow the club to maximise the use of the ORC during the cricket season. They’ll be able to play a match and train at the same time, while allowing more sections of the club to practice at the same time.
The new location, closer to the clubhouse allows them more use of our bowling machine and video technology to help their members of all sections get the most from the sport.
The club wish to thank everyone involved in this project which has completed another part of their development plan.
