A brand-new Tai-Chi course is set to begin this Monday at 6pm at the Community Centre, offering residents a chance to improve their balance, memory, and overall well-being while enjoying gentle, guided movement.
The course is designed for beginners, starting with a simple introductory form before progressing to the more advanced Beijing Short Form. Participants will learn techniques that not only promote physical fitness but also support mental focus and relaxation. Tai-Chi, often described as “meditation in motion,” has long been praised for its health benefits, particularly for those looking to enhance coordination, mobility, and mindfulness.
Paul, the course instructor, encourages anyone interested in trying Tai-Chi for the first time, or those looking to revisit the basics, to join. “It’s a fantastic way to get some gentle exercise, clear your mind, and connect with others in the community,” he said.
Spaces are limited, and those wishing to take part are advised to secure their spot early. For more information or to register, contact Paul via WhatsApp at 07964 723223.
Whether you’re looking to improve your balance, boost your memory, or simply add some movement to your weekly routine, this Tai-Chi course promises something for everyone.
