A brand new weekly exercise class designed especially for the over-60s is launching at the Community Centre, offering local residents a fun and friendly way to stay active.
The new “Move It or Lose It” sessions will begin on Monday from 2pm until 3pm, giving older adults the chance to improve fitness, mobility and wellbeing in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The class is suitable for all abilities and focuses on gentle movement and exercises aimed at helping people stay strong, flexible and independent, while also providing a great social opportunity to meet others in the community.
Organisers say the sessions could be “just the thing” for anyone looking to become more active or try something new, with the first class completely free for anyone who wants to give it a go.
Residents are encouraged to come along, join in and see what it’s all about.
The first session takes place this Monday, from 2pm to 3pm at the Community Centre.
