Line-up for the 2026 Overton Scarecrow Festival announced

The full line-up for the 2026 Overton Scarecrow Festival has now been revealed, with organisers promising a packed weekend of live entertainment, family activities and community celebration at Bridge Street Recreation Ground on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July.

The much-loved village event, hosted by the Overton Radio team, returns as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Overton Recreation Centre, with fundraising once again supporting local facilities and green spaces for the community.

Across both days, visitors can expect a busy programme of music, attractions, stalls and family fun, with highlights spread throughout the weekend.

Saturday’s programme features a strong mix of local talent and community groups, alongside returning crowd favourites. Early entertainment includes upbeat live sets, dance performances, and appearances from community choirs and school groups, building towards a full afternoon of stage performances and family attractions around the site.

Sunday continues the momentum with a full day of performances, including brass bands, acoustic sets and community acts. One of the key highlights is expected to be the appearance of the Basingstoke Silver Band, alongside a range of local performers and group showcases that bring together schools, choirs and village talent in one final celebratory push to close the weekend.

Alongside the music, both days will include food and drink stalls, children’s activities and hands-on entertainment throughout the site.

Full timings, performer details and updates are available now at overtonradio.com/scarecrowfestival, where visitors can plan their weekend in full.

With two days of entertainment, community spirit and classic village festival atmosphere, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest Scarecrow Festivals yet.
