Children of all abilities will have the chance to enjoy football in a calm and supportive environment as Kick & Play prepares to launch its first special educational needs (SEN)-friendly session in Overton next month.
The new sessions will begin on Sunday 1 November 2026 at St Mary’s Hall in Overton, offering children an opportunity to get active, build confidence and make new friends through fun, inclusive football activities.
Running from 10.15am to 11am, the sessions will cost £7 per child and are designed to help every participant feel welcome, regardless of their ability.
Kick & Play aims to create an environment where children can be themselves, feel a sense of belonging and enjoy taking part in football without unnecessary pressure.
The initiative is being launched in collaboration with The Haven, Overton, which supports the project’s focus on providing a friendly and inclusive setting for children and families.
The organisers say the sessions will focus on four key principles: being active, being yourself, belonging and having fun.
Parents and carers interested in booking a place can contact Kick & Play through social media, WhatsApp or email.
Bookings can be made by WhatsApp on 07346 814868 or by emailing admin.kickandplay@gmail.com.
With its emphasis on inclusion, friendship and confidence-building, the new session aims to make football accessible to more children in the Overton community.
