Overton is getting ready for a spectacular evening of fireworks this Saturday (7th November), with the annual fireworks display taking place at Overton CE Primary School.
Organised by the Overton Schools Association, the event promises an evening of family entertainment, with gates opening at 5pm and the fireworks display expected to get underway at approximately 6pm.
Overton Radio will be there providing the soundtrack to the evening, playing music and building up the excitement with a countdown to the fireworks.
With the event fast approaching, organisers have issued some important information for visitors attending on the night.
There will be no parking available at the school, except for those with a pre-booked Blue Badge parking space. Anyone requiring an accessible parking space should contact the organisers at contact@overtonsa.org to make a request.
Visitors are encouraged to walk to the school wherever possible and to be considerate of local residents and neighbours.
Anyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult. Organisers have also reminded visitors that sparklers and glass bottles are not permitted on site. The school grounds are also a strictly no-smoking and no-vaping area.
Advance tickets are still available to purchase online ahead of the event.
