Apple Pressing Afternoon

Residents are being invited to come together at Overton Community Orchard for the annual apple-pressing afternoon on Saturday 12 September.

The event, which runs from 2pm to 4pm at Overton Community Orchard on Overton Hill, promises an afternoon of apple pressing, homemade treats and community spirit.

Visitors can bring along their own apples to be pressed into fresh juice and watch the pressing process in action. There will also be an opportunity to sample the freshly pressed juice.

Anyone who has baked something using orchard fruit is also encouraged to bring it along to share with others.

Organisers say everyone is welcome, whether they bring a bag of apples, something home-baked, or simply come along to enjoy the afternoon and meet members of the local community.

The apple-pressing afternoon takes place on Saturday 12 September from 2pm to 4pm at Overton Community Orchard, Overton Hill.
