Families in Overton are invited to a free Easter celebration filled with creative activities, live storytelling and seasonal fun at the Overton Memorial Institute.
The Easter party will take place on Friday 3rd April from 2pm to 5pm at Overton Memorial Institute, offering a relaxed afternoon of entertainment for children and their families.
A highlight of the event will be Junk Jodie’s drop-in craft sessions, where children can get hands-on and make their own creations. Alongside this, Junk Jodie will present her storytelling show Wild-ERFUL WARRIORS, designed to engage young audiences while sharing messages about the natural world.
The show will explore how to protect woodlands and wildlife, encouraging children to think about the environment in an accessible and interactive way. After the storytelling, the session will continue with games and music to keep the energy going.
Each child attending will also receive an Easter egg to take home, adding a traditional seasonal touch to the afternoon.
Organisers remind attendees that children must be supervised by a parent or caregiver at all times during the event.
Entry is free, and no booking is required, making it an open and welcoming community event for local families looking for an Easter outing.
