Effective as of July 1st 2025
After plenty of discussion, we’ve made some clear decisions about how Overton Radio will move forward with hosting events in the future — and we want to share them with you.
We ask that you read this information before making a booking with us.
1. Supporting a Bigger, Better Future
From January 1st 2026, we’ll be asking event hosts or organisers for a small donation when hosting an event under the Overton Radio banner.
This isn’t about charging for the sake of it — Overton Radio isn’t becoming a business. But quality events, just like running a radio station, come with costs: equipment, tech, promotion, logistics.
All contributions will go directly into:
- Upgrading and maintaining broadcasting equipment
- Streaming and website infrastructure
- Transportation and materials for public events
Even a little extra support means we can make events bigger, clearer, and more polished — better branding, stronger visuals, and an overall improved experience for everyone. We’ve achieved a lot on limited resources, but with your support, we can raise the bar.
2. Overton Radio Events: Hosted by Overton
From September 1st, 2025, only current Overton Radio presenters will host Overton-branded events.
This isn’t about excluding people — it’s about consistency, trust, and authenticity. Over the years, we’ve welcomed external presenters, but not all voices fully reflect Overton’s tone, values, and community spirit.
Our events are an extension of the station: informal, welcoming, and deeply rooted in the local community. Hosting them requires people who genuinely understand what Overton is all about — our presenters.
3. Using the Overton Radio Brand
If Overton Radio is hosting or sponsoring your event, please use the official Overton Radio logo on all promotional materials and tag Overton Radio on social media posts.
This ensures branding stays professional and consistent, and that anyone seeing the event knows it’s a genuine Overton Radio experience. Need logo files or guidance? Just ask — we’re happy to help.
Why This Matters
We do this because we care — about the station, the community, and the people who tune in, volunteer, and believe in Overton Radio. We want to keep delivering heartfelt radio, creating memorable events, and ensuring everything under the Overton Radio name is something we’re proud of.
It’s all about building something stronger, together.
