The traditional Palm Sunday church services took place over the weekend in Overton.
Overton United have secured a place in the final of the North Hampshire Hampshire Intermediate Cup after their opponents at the weekend withdrew from the competition.
A part of the B3400 will be closed for three days for road resurfacing works from Tuesday April 2nd. The initial phase of works is between Worting and Fox Lane and is scheduled to take place off peak from 9.30am-4pm, and then from 6.30pm-8pm. This will affect the 76 bus route. Buses on this route

Tickets are on sale now for a punk-rock music event in Overton later this month. ‘Overton Cranked-Up’ will feature four local bands at St Mary’s Hall on Saturday 30th March. Gregor Restell and Nick Reedman of Overton will run the London Marathon and an additional 60 miles to fundraise for the children’s charity Dreams Come True, with community events supporting their effort.
Tickets for “Firkins and Fizz”, the Overton Beer Festival, featuring real ales, ciders, Prosecco, music, and food from April 19-21, are on sale for £10, including a festival glass.
