LifeSpring Community Church is inviting local people to take part in an Alpha Course, beginning later this month.
The course will run every Thursday evening at the Community Centre in Overton, starting on Thursday 24 September at 7.30pm.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question around faith and is designed to encourage conversation and discussion.
The course is run all around the world, with everyone welcome to attend. Alpha courses take place in a wide range of settings, including online, cafés, churches, universities and homes.
While no two Alpha courses are exactly the same, they generally share three key elements: hospitality, a talk on video and good conversation.
LifeSpring Community Church says it has seen many people attend Alpha and discover a different sense of hope.
