Overton United battled to a hard-earned goalless draw against league leaders Whitehill & Bordon at Bridge Street, securing what could prove to be a hugely valuable point.
In a tightly contested encounter, Overton produced a strong team performance, with every player contributing as they held the top side to a 0–0 draw.
With every point counting in the league, the result gives Overton plenty of encouragement as they continue their campaign.
There is little time to rest, however, with a local derby coming up on Wednesday evening. Hook make the trip to Bridge Street for a floodlit clash, with kick-off at 7.45pm.
Overton United will be hoping for another strong turnout from the home support as they look to build on yesterday’s impressive result.
