Lou Fellingham to perform at St Mary’s Church in Overton

Christian singer, songwriter and worship leader Lou Fellingham is set to perform at St Mary’s Church in Overton this October, with an evening of music, worship and reflection planned for local audiences.

“An Evening with Lou Fellingham” will take place on Friday, October 9, from 7pm to 9.30pm.

Fellingham has been leading worship for more than 30 years and first became known as the lead singer of Christian band Phatfish. She has since established a successful solo career, releasing 13 original solo projects alongside two compilation albums.

Her music includes songs such as Holy, Holy, There Is a Day and Everlasting Arms, which have been sung by churches across the UK and internationally. Her more recent releases include Never Stop Loving and You Are My Peace.

Throughout her career, Fellingham has also worked closely with her husband Nathan, writing, recording and leading worship together. She has appeared at major Christian gatherings including Spring Harvest, Big Church Festival, Prom Praise, Festival of Praise and Festival of Life.

Organisers say Fellingham is known for her distinctive voice, passionate worship and desire to help people encounter God through music.

The evening will also feature singer-songwriter Rebecca Beese as the supporting act. Beese has been leading worship and writing songs for more than 20 years and works with ResoundWORSHIP and Engage Worship.

She has released three albums, The Stories So Far in 2016, Through The Valley in 2018 and PSALM TWENTY SEVEN: Ask Seek Dwell in 2023, with further new music reportedly in the works.

The event takes place at St Mary’s Church, Overton, on Friday, October 9, with the evening programme running from 7pm until 9.30pm.

Tickets are available for £12 through Eventbrite.
