Drivers in Overton are being warned of a five-day road closure on Station Road while Hampshire County Council carries out carriageway repairs.
The works are due to begin on Wednesday 16 September 2026 and are expected to continue for five days.
Station Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between the junction with London Road and the junction with Station Approach. The closure is expected to be in place each day from approximately 8am until 4pm, with the road due to reopen during the evening.
Hampshire County Council says the timetable is weather dependent, and any significant changes will be highlighted on yellow information signs at the closure points.
Residents living close to the works have been warned that there may be some disturbance while the repairs are carried out. Drivers are also being asked not to park on the road during the working hours, as vehicles preventing the work from taking place could be removed.
Access to properties will remain possible, although residents should expect delays while hot materials are allowed to cool. Pedestrian access will remain available throughout the works.
Drivers are advised to speak to the on-site traffic management team if they need to safely enter or leave the area during the closure.
Further information about the works, including planned road closures and diversions, is available through the One.Network roadworks platform.
